Briner Building Achieves AC478 Accreditation
Briner Building, Inc. is the first metal building assembler based in Indiana to obtain the prestigious AC478 accreditation administered by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). AC478, Accreditation for Metal Building Assemblers Inspection, is a standard to recognize metal building assemblers committed to excellence.
“Briner differentiates itself from other companies by investing in industry-leading training and education, and this accreditation reflects that. We are committed to upholding our values of quality, integrity, responsibility, community and partnership for our team members and our clients—we will always do what is right by them,” said David Theye, Director of Safety and Training.
Achieving this accreditation demonstrates that Briner has the personnel, the organizational skills, vast experience, knowledge, management procedures and commitment to assemble metal buildings in accordance with building codes, specifications, budgets and deadlines. Requirements for this accreditation include a documented management system with an emphasis on continual improvement, as well as robust training, safety and quality programs which must meet rigorous manufacturer, industry and OSHA standards.
Bryan Harshbarger, President, added, “This accreditation provides further confidence for our clients and our team members. We have a longstanding history of quality and safety in steel erection, and this designation reinforces our commitment that we will deliver our best, every time.”
“Briner Building is joining an elite group of companies that believe in raising the bar in the metal building industry,” notes Jennifer Heimburger, Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association President. “We are proud to recognize your company with the high standard of accreditation.”
