Briner Building, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of David Theye as Director of Safety and Training. David joined Briner Building in 2002 as Steel Erector and became Safety Director in 2017.

“David’s advancement to Director of Safety and Training is a reflection not only of Briner’s commitment to quality and safety but also of David’s commitment to the company for more than 20 years,” said Bryan Harshbarger, President of Briner Building. “His unique skill set will further benefit our team and our clients in this new role.”

David spearheaded Briner’s recent AC478 Accreditation, which is administered by the International Accreditation Service, a member of the International Code Council Family of Solutions which develops the IBC codes. It verifies a contractor and erector’s compliance in documented safety and training programs, documented management systems and job-site specific assembly plans. Briner is the only AC478 accredited builder in Indiana.
